Hey Tammy! I'm Remus from the other board. The "other board", I believe, is monitored by BoA representatives. I posted several posts about how to file suit against BoA as a pro se litigant and none of my posts made it to the board. Not only that, I replied to your post on how to get in contact with me and that did not make it to the post. Very suspect.
ReplyDeleteHi Remus!! I'm so glad that you decided to post over here. I believe that I'm going to let everyone know about this site tomorrow. I just have a couple of little things I want to iron out first. I wouldn't be at all surprised if it was monitored by BOA. They'll probably show up here as well. We never truly know who is behind a post. But we can't let that deter us. I hope that you'll be active on this board!

ReplyDeleteI am a California constituent, who is presently involved with the Making Home Affordable Program.
I am a borrower who was never delinquent. The US government solicited me into the Making Home Affordable Program, now HAMP. I first applied in May 1 2009. I received two different offers the first on was sent to me on June 26, 2009 for the amount of 2,530 the Second one was received on July 03, 2010 this one was for 1,643 So I Call bank of America and explain to them they sent me two different offers which one should I consider The rep told me to disregard the First one .After months of supplying paperwork I was told I was in a “trial” modification. I was instructed to pay the modified payment “instead of my usual payment.” So I did my first Payment on Aug, 2009 I have made 8 “modified” payments. Every month Bank of America reports me as delinquent. Every month Bank of America charges me late fees, penalties and interest.
I never missed one payment. BOA has ruined my credit. I was told by a customer service representative that I am almost 10 months behind on payments. (I never missed a payment,) I was also told that it would cost me $33,000 To reinstated my account and take my account out of the foreclosed status ..That was last month, and more fees have accumulated since then I received a letter on May 5 of 2010 that states that I have been denied for a Permanent Modification
(I have Never Missed one payment Since I agree on the Terms of the Mod) So on August 10, 2010 I received a notice of Trustee Sale the date of sale was for Aug 26, 2010 I call Bank Of America for extension on the sale date. So they did extended to Oct 28 2010. Know what should I do? I have 4 Kids where do I take them? After complying with all terms I get denied!! That is so unfair…
Bank of America is using a Government program to target at risk borrowers, lure them into what appears to be a financial solution. This manipulates the borrower into coming up with funds to stay current because of the lure of the promised lower interest rate, and a more affordable mortgage. The banks knew that there were large numbers of borrowers on the verge of falling behind. They just didn’t know exactly who these people were. The Making Home Affordable program allowed them to identify these at risk borrowers! The people went to the banks and raised their hands. Huge percentages of borrowers are now being declined and foreclosed on after making timely payments for lengthy periods of time, sometime as long as 18 months, (the trial payment was supposed to be 3 months.) The banks give shoddy explanations or none at all for declining borrowers who have made these payments in the hopes of achieving this allusive goal

Cammy - I understand where you're coming from with the elected officials. Let me tell you where your "trump card" is. It's election time. Remind them of that when they don't respond. I recently called a senator out on their facebook. Told them I had voted for them the last time but they had lost my vote with their "canned" response to my plight. I let everybody read it. Guess who called me 3 hours later? That wasn't the publicity they wanted. It may not happen like that every time but remind them you put them there - you have the power of the vote.
ReplyDeleteJohn - I read your website quite often actually. And I'm on your facebook page. We will fight back together!
